Though Absolute Home Maintenance and Repair started offering it’s services to homeowners in 2022, Derek has been helping people take care of their homes for over 20 years. He started his journey studying and training in the HVAC industry. After a few years he found his calling while working as a maintenance technician at one of Downtown Salt Lake City’s high-rise buildings. From there he became a shift supervisor for the Crossroads Plaza/Key Bank Tower. Wanting to increase his knowledge he became a General Contractor Apprentice.

Derek spent the bulk of the first two decades of the 2000’s maintaining and repairing homes in multi-family housing as well as doing small remodels and improvements on rental properties and flip-homes.

Absolute Home Maintenance & Repair is his way of bringing his knowledge if most aspects of home improvements and repairs to home and property owners in the Salt Lake City Area.
